guys with another video from beside my
garage and as you can see we have a ton
of stuff in this garage right now I'm
actually working on a shipment myself
which is a little shipment right here of
about 20-something items right down
there my garage is a mess so I apologize
if you see how the chaos going on back
there underneath the light next to the
mannequin you could probably see the
laptop way over there Jameson has like
probably a good on a hundred to 200
items that he's shipping off today but
in any event I want to talk about are
you allowed to have more than one Amazon
account because I get a lot of questions
from people asking Steve you know is it
okay for me to have two Amazon accounts
what's the rules what if you know what
if I'm living in you know an apartment
with a buddy and we're both selling on
Amazon what's the rules so for my
understanding and I just went through
the Terms of Service and I talked to
Jameson about this and he's my guest
right now at my house he'll be coming
down in a few minutes but according to
the Terms of Service and my buddy
Jameson and kind of asking around you're
only allowed to have one account under
the IP address for my understanding and
again this stuff is kind of challenging
to understand reading through the Terms
of Service and I've talked to Amazon
Associates in the past well you're only
supposed to have one account per IP
address and now you know when I used to
live at holding my parents my mom she
was selling you know when we both lived
in the same house my mom was selling on
Amazon and I was selling on Amazon and I
never had a problem I never had a
problem you know I never got my account
suspended or I never had any issues am
as I never reached out to me but I have
read about some horror stories where
people got in trouble and the one thing
that you have to worry about if you have
for example say you're you know you're
sharing an apartment or you're at you
live in your parents house and maybe one
of your parents they saw an Amazon and
you do as well the thing you have to
worry about is if something happens one
of one of those accounts you're gonna go
down both both people are gonna go down
with the ship and what I mean by that is
you know say we're living in the same
house and my account gets suspended for
selling and I'm not a fake item or maybe
I cancel too many orders get kicked off
who knows there's a million ways to
kicked off but if I go down there's a
good chance that you're gonna go down
with me from my understanding
so that's what you have to worry about
if you do want to open up a second
Amazon account which is quite common
especially in the private label game a
lot of people they open up multiple
accounts because of you know having
another brand or maybe they're in
partnership with somebody else and they
open up a new LLC if you do want to get
your get a second account on Amazon you
do have to contact them and ask for
permission
do not listed right here do not open up
a second account without their
permission because if they do find out
and I'm sure they have the technology
that tracks you somehow you will get
both your accounts suspended or banned
so if you are looking to open up a
second account for whatever reason you
know maybe like I said you're living at
home with you know your mom or your
father they're selling or a friend
you're at the apartment with them
contact them first let them know what is
going on at least get them on the same
page in case something happens right you
know if you're if you're living at a
place with somebody who's selling and
you were to get your account suspended
you know I'm sure you can get it back
but it's definitely something that you
know you don't want to have to deal with
you don't want to go down that road it's

creepy yeah you are we're talking about
if you're allowed to have more than one
account and if if people will get in
trouble if like for example right now
here's a good situation you're here at
my place and you're selling on Amazon
I'm selling on Amazon what are you doing
to prevent us from getting in trouble
because like I was saying before to the
the folks watching you're only allowed
to have one account per householder
right now if you were to live live login
to my Internet to my Wi-Fi we would both
be under the same IP address so what are
your thoughts on that
um it's it can be it can go either way
um chances are if we did go on to the
same IP address in the same internet
chances are nothing would probably
happen mm-hmm but technically it is can
get picked up by Amazon's I don't know
what you call it cuz we were talking to
some people they have like technology
software is there kind of like spiders
and they just troll
looking for yep so if you were to get
suspended it would be like Amazon system
picking it up I did call and talk to
them what did they tell you and they
said that if you you shouldn't have
you should personally shouldn't have
more than one account unless you set
that up through them but it's kind of
like a gray area as far as having
friends over doing the Amazon under the
same roof on the same IP address
so so what if like for example because I
was telling him before we were talking
about it you know when I used to live at
home my parents my mom was selling in
Amazon I was selling I never had a
problem but technically under the Terms

before you're not supposed to have
