Lawrence Agyekum, currently on loan at Cercle Brugge from Red Bull Salzburg, has confirmed that he is eligible to play for the Super Eagles, thanks to his Nigerian mother. The 20 year old midfielder, born in Ghana, revealed that he can represent either Ghana or at the international level as he has yet to be capped by either country.

In an interview, Agyekum expressed his love for both Ghana and Nigeria, stating, I have love for both countries and want to see them do well. While he follows both national teams closely, Agyekum is open to the possibility of playing for Nigeria, should the opportunity arise.
