Using retail scanner knowledge from the forty eight contiguous states and Washington, DC, ezigarettesaft for comfort shops; supermarkets; mass merchandisers; drug, vapedutch greenback, and membership stores; and army commissaries, we assessed data on monthly unit gross sales and inflation-adjusted costs by 4 merchandise (rechargeables, disposables, prefilled cartridges, and e-liquids) bought throughout the 5-year research period.

The use of flavored tobacco products, including digital cigarettes (e-cigarettes), is widespread in the United States, and flavored products are particularly interesting to young people. Sales developments by aggregated state-stage EVALI case prevalence (low, medium, and excessive) have been assessed to analyze interstate variations in changes of sales coinciding with the EVALI outbreak.

We used Joinpoint software version 4.5.0.1 (Information Management Systems, Inc) to test for significance of discrete modifications in trends in the percentages of sales (log-transformed), by taste class, vapemode through the study period.
