OMDS (OM Digital Solutions) announced the online new product launch of the OM SYSTEM on YouTube. It will premiere on Wednesday, February 8th at 15:00 JST. Personally, I expect it to be equipped with a back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor and the pro capture will be 60fps (OM-1 is 120fps). It is thought that other "computational" functions will be inherited from the OM-1, but attention will be paid to whether the recording media will be a UHS-II double slot like the OM-1, or a single slot like the OM-5.
