How to Replace an audi a3 key G28 Engine Speed Sensor

If this sensor fails to function, the ECU will display a P00160 error code. This indicates that the Crank Shaft is out of line with the Intake Camshaft. It could also indicate an issue with the chain or a jumpy chain link in the upper timing chain. The code won't show without the additional information supplied by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult since there are two connector pins and they have different functions however the best way to test it is to measure resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read around 1000 ohms when it is operating at its maximum. If you're having issues with this part, check for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, when i was accelerating to the fullest speed from highway paytoll, I experienced a big cut in power like the engine is running out of gas or the injectors are not firing any more. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs, three were soaked with gazoline and the fourth was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when I start the engine with no sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump out. The 4th one remains closed. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I got 0ohm. So i assume the problem is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car can start when the G28 is disconnected and it runs perfectly when it is plugged in but it still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62), even when it is unplugged, shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not sure what to do, i believe that i've completely ruled out all other possibilities. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Let me know should you have any suggestions! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump on the g28 is activated by a signal by the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is the same as the G4 and both are used in the 80, 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a wrecking yard or in a local parts store. It is easy to test them - simply put your DMM into resistance mode and determine the distance between pins 1 and 2 (with the bump at the connector end facing upwards). They must be infinite Ohms.
