It can be a bit difficult to test since there are several pins on the connector and each one has different functions. The most effective method to test it is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. If the sensor is operational, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. Look for evidence of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing issues with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a massive drop in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors were not firing. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, three were soaked with gazoline and the 4th one was dry. When i crank the engine without sparks i put tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline leap out, however the 4th stay shut. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55, 30/55 and 48/55. i get zero ohm. I assume that the problem is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car key cover audi can start when the G28 is disconnected and it runs perfectly when it is connected however it is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of that is -49c even after unplugging it.
